| Piper Sonoma Blanc de Noir Tasting Notes: Born in fertile Sonoma Valley, Piper Sonoma Blanc de Noir is full of fresh, fruity vibrancy. The Golden yellow color is like the gentle afternoon summer sun. Rich and complex fruit filled aromas of strawberry, raspberry and cherry scents subside to the creamy, round body and cassis like finish. Winemakers Notes: Piper Sonoma Blanc de Noir is a classic expression of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes, hand-picked from the cool vineyards of Northern Sonoma County. Piper Sonoma is one of the few sparkling wine producers in the world that utilizes French oak in winemaking. Each year their cuvees are blended with portions of barrel-fermented wines and reserve wines aged in large oak foudres. This adds depth and complexity and ensures that Piper Sonoma will deliver exceptional quality year after year. Aged at least 12 months befor achieving perfection. Food Pairing: A very versatile food wine. Marries well with mushroom dishes, risotto, chicken salads, salmon and chocolate-dipped strawberries. |
